Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead – Python to join our Data Engineering team. This role combines strong hands-on expertise with technical leadership, focusing on building scalable, secure, and efficient enterprise data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
•Technical Leadership & Architecture: Lead design and implementation of scalable data solutions using Python, cloud (Azure & AWS), Databricks, and SQL-based systems.
•Data Engineering: Build robust ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines, enabling enterprise-wide data mesh architecture.
•Infrastructure & DevOps: Drive Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and test-driven development practices.
•Data Quality & Security: Ensure high standards of data modeling, quality automation, and compliance with security standards.
•Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code/design reviews, and foster a collaborative, pairing-first culture.
Required Qualifications
•Advanced proficiency in Python for large-scale data applications.
•Strong experience with Azure & AWS, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Databricks/Spark.
•Expertise in data pipeline development, parallel processing, and data modeling.
•Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation), CI/CD, and test automation.
•Proven ability to mentor and lead teams, with strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills
•Experience with data mesh architecture, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and streaming technologies.
•Background in enterprise-scale platforms and regulated industries.
•Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
•Relevant cloud or security certifications.
