Senior Automation Engineer – Driving Excellence in Software Quality
We are seeking a seasoned
Senior Automation Engineer
who is passionate about delivering high-quality software through advanced automation strategies. This role plays a critical part in strengthening our digital solutions by ensuring accuracy, stability, and performance across all product releases. Automation Framework Development
•Architect, design, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.
•Integrate new tools, libraries, and best practices to enhance framework performance.
•Ensure the automation suite supports long-term maintainability with minimal manual effort.
Test Development & Execution
•Develop and optimize automated suites across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
•Ensure automation coverage stays aligned with business and technical requirements.
CI/CD Integration
•Integrate automated scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
•Work alongside DevOps teams to implement quality gates and improve release cycles.
Cross-Team Collaboration
•Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and QA teams to define test scenarios.
•Act as a quality advocate throughout the development lifecycle.
Mentorship & Leadership
•Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers.
•Conduct code reviews and promote automation best practices.
Reporting & Quality Insights
•Generate detailed automation reports highlighting defects, trends, and KPIs.
•Present findings to stakeholders to support data-driven decisions.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
•Minimum 5+ years of QA experience with strong automation focus.
•Hands-on proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
•Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, SpecFlow, JUnit/TestNG, Postman/REST Assured, JMeter.
•Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, automation principles, and Agile practices.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and strong English communication.
