Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Lead Python Developer to join our Data Engineering team. This role focuses on building scalable data solutions, contributing to enterprise data platforms, and shaping data mesh architecture.
Key Responsibilities
•Technical Development & Architecture: Work with Python, Linux, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Databricks, and both Azure & AWS cloud platforms.
•Data Engineering: Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and parallel processing pipelines.
•Infrastructure & DevOps: Maintain Infrastructure as Code, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure application security standards.
•Data Modeling & Quality: Collaborate on operational and analytical data modeling; improve data quality across platforms.
•Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior developers, participate in pair programming, and foster a collaborative, transparent team culture.
•Testing & Documentation: Contribute to test automation, maintain high-quality documentation, and ensure API and security compliance.
Required Qualifications
•Advanced proficiency in Python development for large-scale applications.
•Experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Databricks.
•Strong knowledge of data ingestion, ETL, data modeling, and data quality frameworks.
•Experience with parallel processing, network I/O optimization, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code.
•Proven mentoring, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
•Experience with data mesh architecture, microservices, containerization, and orchestration tools.
•Background in enterprise-scale data platforms, financial services, or data-intensive industries.
•Advanced testing frameworks, automation tools, and knowledge of regulatory compliance standards.
